KIDPRENEUR BUSINESS ACADEMY ADMISSIONS

Black In The Valley in conjunction with Zawadi Cultural Collective host a business program designed to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of our younger generation. Five mentors from various aspects of business will guide our young participants in 4 hour intensive course in developing their own business. From concept to launch, our mentors will ask the questions and give the answers to all of the key components for running a business. In addition to our mentors, guest speakers will address different topics and relay their own personal business expertise. The program concludes with offering of a free vending space for each participate at our Juneteenth Marketplace.

Some of the topics of discussion include:

Brainstorming & Forming Your Business

Discuss your interest, what makes your business and your target audience. Creating a memorable business name and filing a business name. Developing your product. Research your product and what makes it stand out and determining a price point for it.

Advertising & Marketing

Determining a strong marketing/advertising plan both online and traditional.

Planning the roll out of your business

Determining the elements needed and how much product you need for your launch. Complete the business plan and set up the presentation.
